Your Estimate Is Free
There is no flat number for hydro jetting, and any company that gives you one before seeing your line is either guessing or protecting themselves with padding. What a job costs comes down to what's actually inside the pipe, so that's where we start. A pro assesses the line and walks you through what they find. Then you get a firm quote, in writing, before any work begins.
The estimate costs you nothing. If you decide not to book the work, you owe us nothing and there's no follow-up pressure.

What Actually Drives the Price
Four things move a jetting quote up or down. Knowing them ahead of time makes the number you hear a lot less surprising.
- Pipe size and run length: A kitchen branch line and a long main running out to the street sit at opposite ends of the scale. Larger diameter pipe needs more water volume and bigger nozzles, and a longer run simply takes more time to work through.
- Access to the cleanout: An accessible exterior cleanout is the fast path. If the only way into the line is by pulling a toilet or running the hose from a roof vent, that adds labor before any cleaning starts.
- What's in the line: Soft grease and sludge break up quickly. Hardened mineral scale from Phoenix's hard water, compacted sediment, and dense root balls need cutting nozzles and repeated passes, which takes considerably longer.
- Residential or commercial: Restaurant grease lines, apartment stacks, and HOA laterals involve larger systems, tighter scheduling windows, and often documentation requirements that a single-family home doesn't.
Why the Cheapest Visit Isn't the Cheapest Fix
Snaking is almost always the lower number on the day. A cable bores a hole through the blockage, water starts moving again, and the invoice is small. What it leaves behind is the grease, scale, and debris still coating the pipe wall, which is why the same drain backs up again a few months later. Pay for that three times and the math stops working.
Hydro jetting scours the wall back to bare pipe and restores something close to the line's original capacity. For most Valley homes that means a main line staying clear for well over a year rather than weeks. When you're comparing quotes, compare what you're getting for the money and how long it holds, not just the figure at the bottom of the page.
No Surprises on the Invoice
At Phoenix Hydro Jetting, the quote you approve is the quote you pay. If the technician turns up something they did not expect, such as a collapsed section or root intrusion far worse than it looked from the cleanout, work stops and you get a revised number and an explanation first. Nothing gets added to your bill without you agreeing to it.

Weighing jetting against a cheaper cable clearing? Hydro jetting vs drain snaking compares what each one leaves behind, which is usually what decides the real cost.
